We have two 0-2 aged rooms, each capable of holding a maximum of 12 children.
These spacious rooms are filled with lots of opportunities to inspire our babies to explore and
develop.
The room is lit by lots of natural light, helping us to create a home-from-home environment.
The 1:3 adult to child ratio allows us to follow each chil's own routine and meet all of their
individual needs.
Our cot room has space for 12 cots, where babies can sleep in a relaxing atmosphere.

Breakfast Club
We offer a Breakfast Club for parents who have an early start in work and need help with the
morning school run.
We offer a nutritious breakfast, so your child has a good focused day at school, and then a
morning drop off to nursery or primary school using our fleet of vehicles.
Although only with us for a short time in the morning, we still ensure there are fun activities
to take part in, so your child leaves us feeling happy and ready for the day ahead.

Outdoor Play
At Inkpots Day Nursery we value the importance of outdoor play and the positive impact on
mental health and the physical effects it can have on many children. Our aim is to promote
enthusiasm, enjoyment and confidence while developing each child’s physical skills and
abilities outside. At a time where opportunities for outdoor play are decreasing, we hope to
embed outdoor play within our culture and to ensure that children are provided with outdoor
play on a daily basis. We feel it is our duty to provide outdoor play to children and offer them
positive and exciting experiences.
We are fortunate to have lots of space for outdoor play. We have a side garden with slides,
swing, boat, and opportunities for climbing and positive risk play. The artificial grass in this
area makes it suitable for outdoor play in all weathers. At the rear of the building we have a
play area which is half concrete and half grass, perfect for racing up and down in our range
of bikes, trikes and cars. We also have a mud kitchen in this garden where we love cooking
up all manner of spells. Finally, we have a smaller garden with artificial grass, segregated
from the other two larger play spaces, that is suitable for the babies to play safely when all
the older age groups are also outside, for example, during the summer when we all want to
make the most of the sunshine.
